If you receive the error "New Credentials Needed," you can fix it in just a few steps:
- Try to use the same credentials (Username and Password) for your bank account to log in to your bank’s website or app. Pay attention to the upper and lower cases of the letters, as passwords are usually case sensitive
- If you can access the account using the credentials on the bank’s website or app, check your bank account’s inbox or message center to see whether you received any notification or verification code as an additional authentication step.
- Lastly, check your bank account settings or preferences, many times under “security” on your bank’s website. Some banks may require you to opt in to sharing transaction details with third-party apps. This will also help keep your accounts connected in the future.
If you receive the error "Incorrect Information," click on "Try Refreshing Again" and answer the prompted question(s).
If you receive the error "Connection Failed," please wait for 24 hours, then return to Nimbl to see if you can connect successfully.
If you receive the error "Credentials Expired," this means that answers required for multifactor authentication (MFA) were not provided in the required timeframe. Please try again and see whether you are prompted with question(s) and can provide answer(s) to proceed.
